Schedule
- Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- No weekends or on-call required

Patient Population
- All age ranges (pediatrics to geriatrics)
- Cardiac and pulmonary patients with a variety of diagnoses
Work Environment
- Average daily patient visits: 25
- Number of testing rooms: 6
- Use of Vyntus/Jaeger pulmonary function testing equipment
- Scrub color: Navy blue
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Maryland
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Prior Travel Experience
- Not required; first-time travelers will be considered
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
- I-9 attestation and E-Verify compliance
- Background check including 7-year criminal history, SSN trace, nationwide and sex offender searches, education verification, and state-specific exclusions
- Negative drug screen (9 or 10 panel plus fentanyl) within 30 days prior to start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start
- Immunizations and titers: Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B (positive titer or declination accepted), Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (if working with children)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility protocol, updated annually
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccination not required for this location but documentation or declination collected for tracking
- Two supervisory references within 1 year of start
- Employment application/resume completed within 30 days of start
- Verification of previous 5 years of work history (attestation accepted if necessary)
- Maryland State Exclusions List check within 30 days of start
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Uniform: Navy blue scrubs (pink for trauma assignments; pediatric staff may wear child-friendly tops with navy blue pants)
- White short sleeve or navy long sleeve undershirts permitted (pink if wearing pink scrubs)
- Business casual attire (no jeans, open-toe shoes, sleeveless tops, or shorts) for certain departments
- Passport-style photo with solid white or beige background required for badge
- Confidentiality agreement and dress code review required prior to start
- Additional facility-specific forms and attestations may be required before or at orientation
Special Notes
- Candidates may be eligible to test out of Epic training based on prior Epic experience
- Some competency exams and certifications may be required depending on profession and specialty
- Background checks and license verifications are strictly enforced with specific criteria for felonies and license actions
