Job Description

Serve as hospital house supervisor overseeing bed control and operational needs.
Ensure appropriate staffing and respond to codes and Rapid Response Teams (RRT).
Represent administration and direct facility operations in the absence of leadership/management staff.
Supervise personnel across all departments.
Act as administrative liaison to hospital departments, agencies, and physicians.
Provide functional guidance to all units.
Support decision-making related to patient care services, non-clinical services, and staffing.
Ensure hospital policies and procedures are properly interpreted and applied.
Call and weekend coverage required.
Shift schedule: Variable 4x12 hour shifts (day and night), typically 2 day shifts and 1 night shift; no more than 3 consecutive workdays; day off provided when rotating to night shift.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a House Supervisor, including experience within the last year.
Experience in supervisory roles.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
