- Years of Experience Required: 2 years preferred (will consider 1+ years)
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required; 1st time travelers accepted
- Documentation System: EPIC
- Scrub Color: Any (no logo)
Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) preferred
- Additional certifications may be required as applicable (e.g., PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, MAB, NIH Stroke Certification)
Licensure & Verification
- Primary source online verification of state license required
- NURSYS verification required for RN licenses
Compliance & Background Checks
- 7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required upon hire
- Education verification required (transcript or diploma accepted as placeholder if needed)
- Fingerprinting required onsite during orientation (New Mexico placements only)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit mask test within 1 year of start, must be renewed annually
- Adult TDAP vaccine within 10 years of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire for positive TB results, renewed annually
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
- Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series, or declination accepted
- Varicella: Positive titer, 2 vaccines, or physician-documented history required
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required (declinations not accepted)
Competency Requirements
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam (80% minimum score or meet Angoff score)
- Color blind testing (online version acceptable)
- Competency exams as applicable to profession (minimum 80% passing score)
- Annual core testing for subcontractors

- Clear headshot photo for badge

- Unit-specific skills checklist required annually
- 7-year work history verification required
Summary
This is a travel/contract RN position on a PCU night shift in Albuquerque, NM, with a 13-week contract length. Cardiovascular experience and 2 years of RN experience are preferred.
