Job Opportunity: RN Medical / Surgical / Telemetry

Location: Akron, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Description

Must have 2+ years of recent RN experience in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry.
Float requirement (ability to work across different units).
Resume must demonstrate EPIC electronic health record usage within the last 12 months.
No Return to Office (RTO) days allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment.
Maximum of 7 RTO days allowed during the entire assignment.
Block schedules considered on a case-by-case basis; indicate if needed.
Solid black scrubs required.
Accredited nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE required.

Requirements / Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio.
Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
ACLS certification.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
