Job Summary

Seeking a Cytotechnologist to join a clinical team. This role involves specialized laboratory work related to cytology.

Required Qualifications

• Must hold a valid permanent professional license for Cytotechnologist. Temporary licenses are not accepted. Primary source verification of the license must be completed within 30 days prior to start and updated upon expiration.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cytotechnologist.
• Cytotechnologist experience must be within the last year.
• Ohio residents with 5+ years residency: Ohio fingerprints (BCI&I check) and FCRA-compliant national criminal background check required.
• Ohio residents with less than 5 years residency: Ohio fingerprints (BCI&I check) and FBI fingerprint check (FCRA-compliant national coverage).
• Criminal background check within 6 months prior to start, including social security trace and county searches for the last 7 years, national criminal sweep, and sex offender registry.
• OIG exclusion check and SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC screening within 6 months prior to start.
• International background check required if not lived in the U.S. for the past 5 years.
• Highest level of education verified through a third party. International education requires equivalency documentation.
• Employment verification for the last 5 years through a third party.
• 10-panel drug screen completed within 60 days prior to start. Instant drug screens and attestations are not accepted.
• Physical exam within one year prior to start, confirming ability to work without restrictions.
• Fit test for respirators completed within one year prior to start (specific approved models).
• Immunizations or positive titers required for: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B (or signed declination), Tdap (within last 10 years).
• 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) TB test with negative results within last 6 months; if positive, clear chest x-ray and current TB questionnaire required.
• Completion of a skills checklist within one year prior to start (clinical skills specific).
• Competency exam with at least 80% score within one year prior to start.
• Core competencies training (HIPAA, Joint Commission-NPSG, OSHA topics) with 80% passing score within one year prior to start.
• Non-expired photo ID (driver’s license or state ID) required.
• Resume including education and work history.
• Two professional references from the last 2 years.
• Completed job application and employment history form.
• Badge photo (headshot with plain background, JPEG format).
• Completion of required safety and compliance training modules prior to clearance; renewal annually.
