Job Opportunity: ICU RN Night Shift

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Floating Requirement: Must float to all inpatient areas including Stepdown and Med/Surg units
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid permanent RN license for Ohio (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS (American Heart Association)
  • NIHSS
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Critical Care (RN Critical Care specialty)
• Health Requirements:

  • COVID-19 vaccine preferred but not required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)
  • MMR positive titers within last 15 years or appropriate booster schedule
  • Varicella positive titers within last 15 years or appropriate booster schedule
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Tdap vaccination within last 10 years (no declinations accepted)
  • Annual Influenza vaccine required during flu season (October–March) or mask and declination forms completed
  • 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) TB test within last 6 months (annual requirement)
  • Fit test for N95 respirators completed within 1 year (cannot be done onsite)
  • Physical exam within 1 year confirming ability to work without restrictions
• Background and Verification:

  • Criminal background check within 6 months including social security trace and county searches
  • Ohio fingerprints and FBI check as applicable
  • Employment and education verification through third-party
  • OIG exclusion check and federal screening (SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC) within 6 months
• Competency and Skills:

  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year prior to start (clinical skills specific)
  • Competency exam with minimum 80% score within 1 year prior to start
  • Core competencies including HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission topics completed within 1 year prior to start
• Drug Screening:

  • 10-panel drug screen within 60 days prior to start (instant screens not accepted)
• Other:

  • Valid non-expired photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
  • Submission packet including resume, professional references, job application, and employment history form

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Floating to multiple inpatient units is required, so flexibility and adaptability are important.
• This is a night shift role with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
