Job Opportunity: Surgical Oncology RN

Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Every Other Week, Every Other Holiday)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in Oncology, Step Down, Surgical, and Telemetry units.
• Night shift responsibilities with a focus on patient care in these specialty areas.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Minimum 2 years of Surgical Oncology experience
• Surgical Oncology experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience in Oncology nursing
• Experience in Stepdown nursing
• Experience in Telemetry nursing

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Completed I-9 or attestation confirming eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Ohio fingerprinting and criminal background checks required:

  • If resident in Ohio 5+ years: Ohio BCI&I and FCRA-compliant national criminal background check.
  • If resident less than 5 years: Ohio BCI&I and FBI fingerprint check.
• National criminal background check including Social Security trace and county searches for last 7 years.
• OIG exclusion check, SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC screening within 6 months prior to start.
• Drug screen within 60 days prior to start; 10-panel urine drug screen required (instant tests not accepted).
• Education and employment verification within last 5 years through third-party verification.
• Badge photo (headshot, shoulders up, plain background) required.
