Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical Tech (CST) - Temp (Day Shift)

Location: Littleton, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Day shift, 40 hours/week (8 or 10 hour days)
• Call/Weekend: 6-7 call shifts per month (every 4th or 5th weekend)

  • Call shifts include Friday afternoon until Monday 6:30 AM (3 days)
  • Additional individual night shifts from 5 PM to 6:30 AM
• Travel Requirement: No local candidates; permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility
• Patient Population: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric
• Trauma Level: III
• EMR System: McKesson

Required Skillset & Case Proficiency

• Proficient in:

  • Orthopedics including Total Joints
  • Gynecology including C-sections
  • Urology
  • General Surgery
  • Sports Medicine Spine

Required Qualifications

• Surgical Tech certification (NBSTSA or TS-C from NCCT) [Required]
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification [Required]
• Surgical Tech skills checklist demonstrating proficiency in total joints and C-sections [Required]
• 1 Supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment [Required]
• License verification and all licenses/certifications must be current at time of submission
• Must be able to apply for New Hampshire Med Tech license at time of offer if not already held
• Permanent address must be included in submission
• Return to Office (RTO) requests cannot exceed 3 days

Experience Requirements

• Specialty Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Tech with proficiency in required case types (implied by checklist and references)
• Prior Travel Experience: Highly preferred but not explicitly required

• NBSTSA certification preferred but not required; candidates with NBSTSA certification will be given first consideration
