Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Develop and implement total nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans.
Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel.
Maintain professional nursing practice standards in the clinical setting.
Provide care to a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted placement terms.
On-call pay applies with a minimum payout policy.
Non-compete policy: Former direct employees are not eligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.

Notes

No increased pay rates for overtime, holidays, or call-back.
