Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Job Description

• Provide individualized patient care in the ICU by assessing physical and psychosocial status using age-specific data.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, including observation, physical exams, lab/test results, and responses to interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning to identify and clarify patient needs.
• Assist other staff with patient care as needed.
• Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning to promote optimal outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
• Minimum 2 years of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience, including experience within the last year.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
