Certifications
- ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS: Basic Life Support
- PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- CPI: Crisis Prevention Institute (required for Behavioral Health & ER)
- NIH Stroke Certification: Required for specific units (ICU, Interventional Radiology, etc.)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam: Required for specific units (ED, ICU, etc.)
- State License Verification: Must have a valid Missouri or Compact License
- NURSYS Verification: Required for RN, LPN/LVN, AP
Health Documents
- Physical Exam: Must indicate good physical health (within 1 year of start)
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray: Required within 12 months of start
- Drug Testing: Negative drug screen required within 12 months of start
- Flu Vaccine: Required during flu season or medical/religious exemption
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Preferred but not required
Background and History Checks
- Criminal Background Check: Required within 12 months of start
- References: Two professional references within the last 2 years
- State Specific Searches: Required for candidates working in Missouri and Wisconsin
