Job Description
- Shift Options: 3x12 or 4x12 (RN's choice)
- Unit: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CTICU)
- Patient Ratios: Average 1:2 during days and nights
- Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of Cardiac ICU experience
- 1 year of Level 1 Trauma Center experience
- Proficiency with Swan-Ganz monitoring
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call Requirement: No
- Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
- Block Schedule Accommodation: No
- Pending License Accepted: Yes
- RTO Restrictions: RTO greater than 7 days requires approval
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes
Required Certifications
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)

- EPIC Testing (if applicable)
Health Documents Required
- Physical Exam: Required within 12 months of start.
- Fit Test: Required within 12 months of start, updated annually.
- Vaccinations:
- Tdap (within 10 years for specific units)
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray
- Flu vaccination during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccination series
Background Check
- Criminal Background Check: Required within 12 months of start, updated annually.
