Pediatrics

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Hagerstown, Maryland.
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:30–7:00.
• 13-week contract.
• Guaranteed hours: 40 per week.

Unit / Setting

• MS floor with 8 Peds beds.
• Ratios: 1:5 for adults, 1:4 for peds.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Pediatrics (2 years of experience).
• Pediatrics experience within the last year.
• One completed travel assignment.
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense.
• Experience working with Pediatric patients.
• Experience working with Adult patients.
• Med Surg experience.
• Experience with Epic.

Schedule / Assignment Details

• Weekend requirement: every other weekend.
• No call required.
• No block scheduling accommodation.
• First-timers not accepted.
• Local candidates accepted, with local rate adjustment for those living within 50 miles of the hospital.
• 1 request for time off.
