Medical Surgical Oncology RN

Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in Bristol, Tennessee
Night shift
Schedule options available: 36/36, 36/48, and 48/48
Every other weekend
No call
Floating to other units when needed
1:7 ratio
Travelers do not administer chemo
First-time travelers accepted
Previous charge experience preferred
16 hours of nonbillable orientation
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI

Preferred Qualifications

Previous charge experience

Additional Notes

General orientation begins on Sundays
Hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment may be flexed as needed for census or resource needs without penalty
Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
