RN Case Manager in ED

Overview

Travel/Contract RN Case Manager in ED
High Volume ED; must be strong CM
INTERQUAL EXP REQUIRED
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid California RN license
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Case Management experience within the last year
1 year of Case Management experience
INTERQUAL experience
Utilization Review (InterQual)
2 references within 1 year of start in the current specialty, from a leadership role
Government-issued photo ID
Criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually
N95 mask fit testing within 1 year of start, renewed annually
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Hepatitis B series or declination
Flu vaccination or signed declination by 12/5
Copies of continuing education taken within the last 24 months for RNs
Unit-specific competency exam
Infection Control/Bloodborne Pathogens exam
Medication/Calculation Exam
Signed HIPAA acknowledgement
Signed unit-specific job description
Signed confidentiality agreement within 72 hours of signing
Signed traveler acknowledgement
Signed epidural pain policy review
Signed standard of care: skin care attestation
Signed orientation info and acknowledgement
Signed skills self-assessment
Signed pyxis agreement
Signed TB symptom review
Signed hepatitis C declination if declining the titer

Preferred

Hepatitis C titer is strongly preferred

Notes

Candidates who are not fully vaccinated for COVID must follow masking requirements
Drug screen is required within 1 year of start
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap documentation is required
Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation is required
