Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Castro Valley, California
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
36 hours per week
13-week contract
No Sunday shift; rotating every other Saturday is required
May float to units in the Emergency Services Division

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
CPI
NIHSS
Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Preferred

Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred for RN positions

Job Duties

Provides direct patient care, assesses patients, develops care plans, and evaluates outcomes
Coordinates care for a group of patients and supervises support personnel
Assists physicians with exams and special procedures
May function as relief Charge Nurse
Participates in orientation, quality improvement, education, and unit committees
