- Travel/Contract role in Santa Rosa, California
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Role Details
- Provides age-appropriate nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Assesses patients, identifies problems and abnormal findings, anticipates changes in condition, and reports/resolves issues
- Develops and revises plan of care with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary resources
- Administers medications and treatments according to policy and standards
- Communicates with patients, families, and other healthcare providers and participates in multidisciplinary care conferences
- Documents patient care and demonstrates leadership in daily unit activities
