RRT Pediatrics

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• Every other weekend required
• Two of the three paired holidays required
• First-time travelers accepted

Unit / Setting

• Home unit may be NICU, PICU, or Peds, and can be changed based on facility need
• Floating may include PICU and some Peds Acute Care

Required Qualifications

• Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in Indiana
• Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NBRC RRT
• Experience working with Labor and Delivery patients
• Experience working with NICU patients
• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience

Preferred

• PALS

Notes

• NRP is required for those placed in L&D, as determined by the client, and can be obtained once offered
• Traveler must be comfortable with the every other weekend requirement
