Overview

Location: Athens, Georgia
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 12 weeks
Patient population: Neonates to geriatrics

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Georgia
Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience with Epic

Key Clinical Skills

Ventilator management
Medicated aerosol treatments
BiPAP management
Open heart care
Intubation
ABG draws and analysis
CPT
Nitric oxide therapy
COVID management

Work Setting

Covers all hospital floors, including ICU, open heart unit, NICU, and ED
Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
Every other weekend
No call

Additional Notes

Maximum 7 days of requested time off
Must work assigned major holidays if they fall during the contract
Scrubs: any color except all red or all navy blue
Full compliance is required before start
Local candidates are accepted
