Job Description

• This is a travel assignment covering maternity leave until approximately 8/28.
• Work schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week.
• Pediatric ultrasound experience is highly preferred.
• Vascular ultrasound experience is a plus but not required.

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support): Must be AHA or ARC certified; RQI accepted. Certification cannot expire within 30 days of start.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography): Required.
• Other certifications may be required based on unit specifics (e.g., ACLS, PALS), but BLS and ARDMS are mandatory.

Required Qualifications

• Ultrasound Technologist with at least 1 year of experience.
• Recent ultrasound technologist experience within the last year.
• Current BLS certification.

Compliance & Testing

• Completion of online orientation modules within 72 hours of assignment.
• Pre-assignment testing (medication and EKG/arrhythmia tests) must be completed within 72 hours of receiving login information; two attempts allowed.
• Pass/fail testing for medication and arrhythmia required for RNs (not applicable for this role but noted for reference).
• Annual competency exams and core training modules required.
• Badge photo submission required prior to start.

Additional Information

• Candidates must carry valid ID and driver’s license on duty.
• Background checks and various federal/state sanction screenings are required and must be current.
• Fingerprinting may be required if candidate has lived/worked in certain states (e.g., West Virginia) within the last 7 years.
• Candidates must comply with facility-specific policies such as floating policy and contractor acknowledgment.
• Pediatric experience is highly preferred; vascular experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
