Overview

• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day, 5x8 hours, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Hours per week: 40
• Contract length: 13 weeks

• Weekends: Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Acute Care Case Management (5 years of experience)
• Acute Care Case Management experience within the last year
• Experience with admission criteria
• Experience with approvals and denials
• Experience with discharge planning
• Experience with disease management
• Experience with plan of care (POC)
• Experience with pre-certification review
• ED - Emergency Department experience
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• Med Surg experience

Required Health Documents

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• N95 respirator fit test within 1 year of start for those with patient contact
• Tdap vaccination within 10 years
• TB screening or chest X-ray
• Measles immunity documentation
• Mumps immunity documentation
• Rubella immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B immunity documentation or vaccine series
• Varicella immunity documentation
• 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start
• Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
• COVID-19 primary series and booster vaccines
