Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Position requires liver transplant surgical tech experience; candidates must be able to scrub liver recipient transplants independently.
  • Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
  • Call requirement: 40-60 hours of call over a 6-week schedule, including holidays.
  • Average daily surgical case volume: 35 cases.
  • Operating rooms: 22.
  • Special equipment used: DaVinci XI surgical system.
  • Cases include large open belly surgeries such as general, urology, thoracic, gynecology, plastics, Whipple procedure, liver resection, and free flap surgeries.

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Surgical technologist experience within the last year.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current NBSTSA certification.

Additional Information

  • Indiana residents will not be eligible to sign new contracts in this specialty at this facility effective March 1, 2026.
  • Candidates must complete mandatory facility-specific training modules prior to orientation.
  • On-site fit testing is limited and requires prior approval.
  • Candidates must complete all required documentation and clearances as a priority before start date.

Work Hours

  • 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours each, night shift).
  • Call coverage required including holidays.
