Job Description
- Position requires liver transplant surgical tech experience; candidates must be able to scrub liver recipient transplants independently.
- Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
- Call requirement: 40-60 hours of call over a 6-week schedule, including holidays.
- Average daily surgical case volume: 35 cases.
- Operating rooms: 22.
- Special equipment used: DaVinci XI surgical system.
- Cases include large open belly surgeries such as general, urology, thoracic, gynecology, plastics, Whipple procedure, liver resection, and free flap surgeries.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Surgical technologist experience within the last year.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current NBSTSA certification.
Additional Information
- Indiana residents will not be eligible to sign new contracts in this specialty at this facility effective March 1, 2026.
- Candidates must complete mandatory facility-specific training modules prior to orientation.
- On-site fit testing is limited and requires prior approval.
- Candidates must complete all required documentation and clearances as a priority before start date.
Work Hours
- 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours each, night shift).
- Call coverage required including holidays.
