Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) – Travel/Contract
Location
- Columbus, Ohio

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Details
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours/week)
- Weekend rotation: every other or every third weekend
Patient Ratio
- Approximately 1 nurse to 3.5 patients
Job Description
- Work in an Emergency Room setting
- Comfortable with triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, ventilated patients, trauma cases, psychiatric holds, and pediatric emergency care
- Experience with EPIC documentation and Pyxis medication system
- Float required (may be assigned to different units as needed)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Certifications required before or upon start:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
