Job Opportunity: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech

Location: Medford, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule Details:

  • Shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights only
  • No floating between units
  • No on-call required
  • Weekend work required (Friday night shift extends into Saturday morning)
  • Block schedules required
  • Patient ratio approximately 2:1

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Polysomnographer license in Oregon
  • Minimum of 1 year of Polysomnographer experience
  • Polysomnographer experience within the last year

Orientation & Training

  • Reduced Non-Billable Orientation: 0 hours (standard is 40 hours)
  • Must complete required annual and pre-start regulatory modules via LMS (Workramp) as applicable
  • Epic training modules required prior to or shortly after start (transcripts must be submitted)

Background & Screening Requirements

  • Background check within 90 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; updated annually
  • E-Verify attestation required
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start, updated monthly
  • Education verification required for all candidates
  • Drug screen: 9-panel within 12 months of start (instant acceptable)
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
  • Respirator clearance (RespSafety) required annually for travel candidates
  • Immunizations and health documents required:
    • TDAP within 10 years (declination accepted)
    • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months, updated annually
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
    • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
    • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
    • Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
    • COVID vaccination record preferred (declinations not required)

Additional Requirements

  • Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required
  • Must complete float policy acknowledgement (may be required to float to other facilities within reasonable distance)
  • No 48-hour shifts approved
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
