Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Weekend Requirement: Potential for 2 weekends per month
Call/Holidays: No call or holiday shifts required

Job Description

• Start Date: ASAP
• Work schedule is primarily 5x8’s but can accommodate 4x10’s
• EPIC experience required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Mammography Technologist license in Wisconsin (expected within 6 weeks of start)
• Minimum 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT Mammography (M) or Radiography (R) certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Background check: 7-year history including SS trace, county searches, nationwide sex offender check
• Professional references: 2 verified within 2 years of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (Chest X-Ray acceptable if within 60 days)
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct-Mar)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen with expanded opiates within 14 days before start (marijuana positive not disqualifying)
• Photo for badge (passport style, shoulders up, no filters)

Additional Requirements & Competencies

• Annual skills checklist required
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Color blind testing if applicable (not typically required for Mammography Tech)
• Facility-specific compliance and confidentiality documentation to be completed prior to start

• Local candidates are accepted but at a lower rate
• No prior travel experience explicitly required for this position

This role is ideal for a Mammography Tech with solid experience in radiology/cardiology imaging, who is comfortable working day shifts with a flexible schedule and meeting comprehensive credentialing and health requirements.
