Job Opportunity: OT Home Health

Location: Owings Mills, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Details

• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Productivity Expectation: 30 points per week
• Call Requirement: May be asked to sign up for on-call if needed
• Weekend Requirement: Possible but generally Monday-Friday
• Patient Population: Geriatric patients
• Local candidates are acceptable

Requirements

• Specialty: Occupational Therapy (OT) in Home Health
• Minimum Experience: 2 years of home care experience
• Documentation: Experience with OASIS documentation required
• Licensure: Valid Maryland OT License
• Certifications: BLS required
• Additional: Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

Compliance & Documentation

• Background Check: 7-year criminal history check including SS Trace, Counties, Nationwide, Sex Offender, FACIS Level 3
• Drug Testing: 9-panel drug screen within one year of start
• Health Documents:

  • Physical exam within last 12 months (not required annually)
  • N95 Fit Test within 1 year and updated annually
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
  • Immunizations: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (vaccines or positive titers required)
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination or documented exemption required before start
  • COVID-19 Vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required

Additional Requirements

• Proof of I9 or attestation
• Government-issued photo ID carried during hours of service
• Auto insurance copy required
• Completion of facility-specific contractor activation form
• References:

  • 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel allied positions
• Competency Exams and Core Training as applicable
• Education verification and licensure primary source verification required

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• On-call and weekend work may be required occasionally but are not standard.
• Patient population primarily geriatric, suitable for therapists experienced in this demographic.
