Job Opportunity: RRT-NICU (Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics)

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Previous NICU experience is required.
• Level 1 trauma center with high acuity patients.
• Cross campus coverage required (University, Memorial, Marlborough).
• Schedule: Every Other Week (EOW) / Every Other Holiday (EOH).

Required Qualifications

• License: Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in hand required.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience, including hospital/acute care/critical care.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Additional Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License/State ID.
• Background checks including 7-year criminal background check, education verification, and state-specific clearances.
• Health documents including:

  • Physical exam within 12 months of start with fitness to work statement.
  • Immunizations or declinations for TB, MMR, Hepatitis B, TDAP, Varicella, Flu, COVID-19, and others as applicable.
  • Drug testing within 30 days of start.
• References: 2 references within 3 years of start.
• Employment application covering 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps over 30 days.
• Skills checklist required prior to start and updated annually.

Facility & Work Environment

• Level 1 trauma center with high acuity patients.
• Cross campus coverage across multiple hospital locations.

This position is ideal for experienced Respiratory Therapists with NICU background seeking a travel contract in a high-acuity, trauma center environment.
