Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Broomfield, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every weekend
• On-call: Yes, as needed per unit
• Floating: May be required to float within scope to like units
• Charting System: Epic
• Equipment Experience: GE equipment experience required
• Special Requirements:

  • Multi-modality experience required (CT and X-ray)
  • Must be comfortable working independently
• First-timers: Accepted if experience requirements are met

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT/X-ray technology

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT (R) (CT) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Additional Requirements

• Must be available for weekend shifts every week
• Must be able to work independently and handle multi-modality imaging
• Must be comfortable with on-call duties as needed

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• I9 or Attestation
• Driver’s License/State ID (clear copies front/back)
• E-Verify or Attestation
• 7-year Background Check including:

  • SSN Trace
  • Colorado Statewide CBI
  • Education Verification (3rd party)
  • FACIS III
  • Sex Offender Search
  • OFAC Sanctions List Search
• Education Verification or Transcript/Diploma
• Drug Testing within 30 days of start and annually
• Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, DO, NP, or PA
• Fit Mask Test within 12 months and annually (specific 3M masks required)
• Immunizations and Titers:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination)
  • Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccines
  • Hepatitis B immunity or vaccine series or declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccines
  • Seasonal Flu vaccination or facility exemption during flu season
  • COVID vaccine proof or signed declination
• Color Blindness: Ishihara exam required prior to start (online testing not accepted)
• Annual Competency Exams and Tests including:

  • Medication/Pharmacology Competency
  • Core Parts I, II, III
  • OSHA Mandatory Training
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency (if applicable)
• UCHealth CO CAPS Release Authorization annually
• Employment History Verification for last 3 years with explanations for gaps >30 days
• References: 2 references from last 2 years, including one from last year, from charge RN, manager, or supervisor

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
• Weekend work and on-call availability are mandatory.
• Candidate must confirm renewal plans for any certifications expiring within 90 days of start to avoid clearance issues.
• Multi-modality experience (CT and X-ray) is essential.

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with at least 2 years of experience who are comfortable working independently in a multi-modality environment and are available for weekend shifts and on-call duties.
