Job Opportunity: Outpatient Pharmacist (Oncology Specialty)

Job Details
- Specialty: Pharmacy (Oncology Clinical Infusion)
- Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM, 5 days a week (5x8s)
- Floating: May be required to float to sister facilities as needed
- On-call: Not required
- Weekend: Required as per clinic needs
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent Oncology Clinical Infusion experience (highest required)
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system (required)
- First-time travelers are eligible if experience requirements are met
- Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required
Required Licenses & Certifications
- Valid California Pharmacist license
Required Qualifications & Compliance
- Current and valid Driver’s License or government-issued photo ID
- Background checks including Social Security Trace, 7-year criminal history, sex offender search, FACIS level 3, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG—all must be within 30 days of start
- Education verification (diploma or official transcripts)
- Completion of facility-specific onboarding documents and training modules (e.g., HIPAA, harassment prevention, abuse reporting)
- Proof of required vaccinations and health screenings including:
- Physical exam (within 1 year)
- Negative TB test (QGold within 1 year)
- Immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination
- COVID-19 vaccine or declination (vaccine must be administered after 9/12/2023)
- Drug screening (9-panel) within 12 months of start
- Completion of medication/pharmacology competency exam
Additional Notes
- Candidates must complete and submit facility-specific documents and training certificates prior to start
- Onboarding requires timely submission of photo for badge and access
- References: 2 required, supervisor level or above, with at least one within the last year
- Employment application must cover last 7 years with explanations for gaps over 30 days
- Work history verification required for last 5 years
