Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ED RN) - Travel/Contract

Location: Clarksdale, Mississippi
Shift: Nights (1900-0700)
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off

Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (Emergency Department)
• Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years required; 4-5 years preferred
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Compliance & Documentation

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Social Security Card
• E-Verify proof or Attestation
• Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license)
• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal check within a year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Education Verification (upon request)
• State License Verification (Primary Source)
• NURSYS Verification (for all RNs)
• Drug Testing: 9 Panel Drug Screen within a year of start
• Physical Exam: Physician statement within last 12 months (not required annually)
• Fit Mask: Required within 12 months of start, renewed annually (specific mask types accepted)
• Immunizations/Vaccinations:

  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year, updated annually
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccine or Declination (collected upon client request)
• References:

  • 2 professional references within 2 years for Travel positions
• Skills Checklist: Must be updated annually
• Performance and Internal Evaluations: Required if previously worked over 1 or 2 years respectively
• Mississippi-specific: MSDH Criminal History Fingerprint Results must be on file prior to start

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement and competency exams may be required.
