Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Greensburg, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Emergency Contact Form (required prior to start)
• Background Checks (within 30 days of start):

  • SS Trace and County searches for last 7 years
  • Nationwide and Sex Offender searches
  • Pennsylvania Statewide background check (Patch Certificate)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check
  • HHS/OIG check
• Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Fingerprint Results (must be obtained and submitted)
• Physical Exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year (with annual TB questionnaire if applicable)
• Immunizations or titers within 10 years for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (vaccine series, positive titer, or signed declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative 15-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination or documented declination (required during flu season: 10/1/2024 – 4/1/2025)

Competencies & Training

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (minimum 80% or meet/exceed Angoff score)
• Competency Exam (minimum 80% or meet/exceed Angoff score)
• Facility-specific orientation and training checklists must be completed prior to start, including but not limited to:

  • Orientation Checklist
  • Pandemic Attestation
  • Code of Conduct
  • Confidentiality Agreement
  • Disclosure Statement
  • Assessment of Patient Policy (must pass quiz with 100%)
  • Interdisciplinary Plans of Care (must pass quiz with 100%)
  • Skin Integrity Training (must pass quiz with 100%)
  • Mobility Training (must pass quiz with 100%)
  • Catheter Training (must pass quiz with 100%)
  • Cardiac Procedure Education (for Telemetry units)
  • Competency Assessment (for Telemetry units)

Additional Notes

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification required if assigned to ER or Behavioral Health units
• Two professional references required within 3 years for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles
• All required documents and certifications must be uploaded and verified prior to start date

This position is a travel/contract role requiring a licensed RN with ACLS and BLS certifications, compliance with extensive background and health screenings, and completion of facility-specific training and competency assessments.
