Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Outpatient Physical Therapist position in an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Clinic.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Standard schedule: Monday through Friday, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (40 hours guaranteed).
• Work hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (must work two evenings per week until 7:00 PM)
  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling options available as long as workdays are Monday through Friday.
• No on-call, float, or weekend shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Maryland.
• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
• Experience in an outpatient setting.

Additional Requirements

• Criminal background check within 90 days of start.
• Drug screening within 90 days of start.
• Annual physical exam confirming ability to perform job duties without accommodations.
• Immunization and health documentation including:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (updated annually)
  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
  • Documentation of MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• Valid driver's license if driving is an essential job function.
• Completion of facility-specific orientation and competency exams as required.
• References: Two positive supervisory references supporting at least two years of experience within the last three years.
• Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education and license information.

Work Environment

• Outpatient clinic setting focused on orthopedic sports medicine.
• No weekend or on-call responsibilities.
• Evening shifts twice a week required.
