Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR / General OR Experience

Job Description

• Requires experience in CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) and General OR.
• No first-time travelers accepted.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Epic electronic health record experience required.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute). CPI certification can be obtained onsite for a fee.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana.
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience, including experience within the last year.
• Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is required; no first-time travelers will be considered.
• CPI certification cost is approximately $50 and can be completed onsite if not already certified.
• Candidates must have government-issued photo ID matching all documentation.
• Background checks include social security trace, nationwide and county checks, sex offender registry, and federal databases.
• Flu vaccination is required for all new starts beginning October 1, with documentation due by mid-November.
• Masking is required at all times for unvaccinated candidates.

This position is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses with CVOR and General OR backgrounds who have prior travel experience and are comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment using Epic.
