Job Details

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, some flexibility available

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
  • Minimum 1 year of Case Management experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Required Documentation & Compliance

  • Background Checks:
    • Criminal background check within 1 year, updated annually
    • 7-year search including statewide, nationwide, sex offender, social security trace, and federal searches
  • Education Verification: Proof of graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • References: Two professional references within 1 year from leadership roles (e.g., Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse)
  • Employment Verification: Verification of all employment for past 3 years required
  • Physical Exam: Within 1 year, updated annually
  • Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year, updated annually
  • Immunizations & Health Requirements:
    • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap or Pertussis titer showing immunity
    • Hepatitis B series or declination (titer not accepted)
    • Hepatitis C titer preferred; declination accepted with reason
    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella immunity or vaccination as required
    • Seasonal flu vaccination required by December 5 (declination accepted with masking requirements)
    • COVID-19 vaccination documentation for current season or declination with masking requirements
  • Mask Fit Testing: N95 fit test within 1 year, renewed annually (PAPR documentation accepted if fit test failed)
  • Signed Acknowledgments:
    • HIPAA
    • Orientation packets and unit-specific job description
    • Workplace violence prevention
    • Epidural pain policy review
    • Standard of care for skin care
    • Traveler acknowledgments including patient safety and clinical updates

Additional Information

  • Orientation: Some modules completed onsite or at home after start; must be completed before working on the floor
  • Badge: Travel nurses require a facility badge
  • Work Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday with some flexibility
