• Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hours, Monday-Friday (rotating day off, mostly Mon-Thurs)
• Start Date: Within 3-4 weeks depending on compliance tier

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Illinois
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM, CPI, MAB, NIH Stroke, and others as required by specific unit (check unit descriptions)
• Background Checks:

  • Criminal background check within 6 months (7-year search including statewide and nationwide)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG quarterly checks
  • Fingerprinting required for Illinois long-term care or rehab units
  • Education verification of highest nursing degree
  • State-specific exclusion and highway patrol checks as applicable
• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within 1 year
  • Fit mask test (N95) annually
  • Immunizations and titers: Tdap, TB testing, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (with specific unit exemptions)
  • Drug testing within 1 year, must include specific panels
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• Competency Exams:

  • Medication/pharmacology competency exam
  • Unit-specific competency exam (e.g., Oncology for Med Surg-Oncology unit)
• References: Two professional references required (supervisors preferred)

• Floating is limited to within the service line and scope of practice.

• Locals within 75 miles are not accepted for this travel position.
• Pending licenses are not accepted; permanent Illinois RN license required.
