Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (Rehabilitation)

Location: Soldotna, Alaska
Facility: Central Peninsula Hospital

Position Details

• Employment Type: Contract Clinician
• Contract Length: 14 weeks
• Setting: Mostly outpatient with some inpatient care
• Shift: 8-10 hour shifts, possible weekend coverage
• Dress Code: Business casual

Job Description

• Manage individualized, goal-directed Occupational Therapy care using Occupational Therapy processes and principles.
• Work in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and within the Scope of Practice Act for the State of Alaska.
• Utilize standard adult and pediatric equipment in the unit/department.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years recent outpatient Occupational Therapy experience.
• Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Alaska.
• Current BLS certification (AHA required).
• Experience with EPIC charting system.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.

Orientation & Training

• Department-specific orientation program provided.

Additional Notes

• Candidates should disclose any required time off during the initial assignment.
• Candidates should be prepared for possible weekend coverage.
