Travel PPV RN

Overview

• Location: Elizabethtown, Kentucky
• Employment type: Temp
• Patient care setting: Home Health
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 0800-1630 EST
• Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• On call: 7–10 days per month, including one weekend per month
• Mileage reimbursement starts after the first patient visit of the day and ends at the last patient visit of the day; there is no reimbursement from home to the first visit or from the last visit to home

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Home Health experience within the last year
• 1 year of Home Health experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Proficiency in OASIS and Start of Care documentation

Responsibilities

• Proficient in OASIS, Start of Care, and other OASIS visits
• Provide quality documentation and timely completion of documentation
• Provide quality patient care
• Maintain effective communication, teamwork, and outstanding customer service

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to care for a critically ill patient and identify safety concerns
• Ability to escalate patient care when needed and follow through with provider notification and updates to the Executive Director and Patient Care Manager
