Charge Nurse/House Supervisor role available
Nurse Aids available sometimes (ratio 1:15 depending on sitter needs)
Central monitoring with RNs responsible for noticing changes
RNs required to titrate drips (heparin, lidocaine, TPN gtt)
Common patient diagnoses: Medical/Surgical with specialty in post-op cancer intervention (e.g., prostatectomy, mastectomy)
Oncology certification is a plus but not required
Travelers will not be required to administer chemotherapy due to competency requirements

BLS (AHA) certification required
Must pass a 90% score on a pass/fail exam during orientation (open book, skills-based)
Artificial nails prohibited in all patient care departments
Valid driver’s license required at submittal
Radius rule: candidates must live within 50 miles and cannot be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit

Dress code: navy scrubs

Good communication, accurate documentation, timeliness, and patient-centered care are essential skills
