Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Day shift, 8 hours per day
• 40 hours per week
• Weekend call is required; there are no weekend shifts, only on-call
• Holiday coverage is required
• Call is rotating, with a 30-minute response time

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• RDCS-AE via ARDMS
• Experience performing adult TTEs and TEEs

Preferred Experience

• Experience with stress echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echocardiograms, and pediatric echocardiograms

Work Setting and Duties

• Inpatient and outpatient adult and pediatric echocardiography
• Stress echocardiograms, including pharmacological studies
• Transesophageal echocardiograms
• Non-invasive echocardiography with Doppler measurements and calculations
• Digital archival and retrieval of studies
• Echo contrast injection and image acquisition
• Rotates on-call and standby with other technologists

Additional Details

• First-time travelers are accepted if they have prior experience performing TTEs
• No floating to other areas
• Scrubs are required; the department provides scrubs, but they are not mandatory to wear
• Department orientation is typically 1 day, with extension if needed
