Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Location: Harris, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours: 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
Unit Size:

• 16-bed unit
• 4 birthing rooms
• 7 postpartum rooms (expandable to 12 with swing unit)

Job Description

Seeking a well-rounded Labor & Delivery RN to cover Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Mother/Baby, and Nursery areas. The facility is medium-sized and located about 2 hours from New York City. Night shifts, weekends, and holidays coverage may be required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid New York RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• COVID-19 vaccination required (no declination accepted)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced fetal monitoring skills preferred but not required (basic fetal monitoring skills acceptable)
