Licensure & Certifications

• Active Hawaii RN License required by start of assignment
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (must submit certification or complete a 45-minute online class during orientation)

Job Duties & Requirements

• Flexible shifts: Day or Night shifts assigned based on staffing needs
• Work schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts (36 hours) per week after orientation
• Call shifts: 2 twelve-hour call shifts per 4-week roster period
• May float to other critical care and step-down units as needed
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 2:1
• Unit size: 11 beds
• Use of Meditech electronic health record system
• Professional dress code: Scrubs

Orientation

• 1 week orientation (up to 40 hours)
• Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday

Prior Travel Experience

• Not explicitly required

This position is ideal for experienced ICU nurses licensed in Hawaii who are flexible with shifts and able to work in a critical care environment.
