Job Opportunity: RN - Surg/Ortho Nights (Contract)

Job Summary

• Provide patient care under the supervision of the Unit Director.
• Perform duties in accordance with the State of Maine Board of Nursing and hospital policies.
• Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse provides direct supervision during shifts.

Requirements

Licensure & Certifications

• Current Maine RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• MOAB or CPI certifications preferred but not required.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience

• Telemetry experience preferred.
• No explicit minimum years of specialty experience stated.

Skills

• Must be a team player.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Flexible hours.

Additional Information

• Up to 16 hours of orientation (unpaid).
• The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract.
• Travelers living within 50 miles of the facility will receive a lower local rate.
• No mention of prior travel experience required.
