Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (Rehabilitation Therapy)

Location: Lakeview, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Evaluate, select, perform, and/or direct assistance in educational, vocational, and recreational activities aimed at restoring maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled patients, based on physician referrals.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare team regarding patient abilities and goals.

Education & Licensure Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited institution.
• Eligible for or currently licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the Oregon State Board of Health.
• Current valid Oregon driver’s license required.
• Current CPR certification required.

Experience & Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy related to physical disability and rehabilitation procedures, general medicine, surgical, and mental health concepts.
• Understanding of team approach principles, recognizing capabilities and limitations of other team members.
• Positive attitude with strong communication skills.
• Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect.

Additional Information

• Training or certifications related to ASHA, CHT, ACP may be relevant.
