Job Opportunity: Echo Tech

Location: Fort Pierce, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 2
• Number of Staff: 7
• Shift Coverage:

  • Day Shift: 2-3 staff
  • Night Shift: 1-2 staff (Evenings only, no overnight shifts)
  • Weekend Coverage: 1-2 staff on Saturday & Sunday
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment Used: GE
• Documentation System: Meditech Expanse
• Call Requirements: 3-7 nights per month

Typical Procedures

• Complete 2D Echocardiograms

Required Qualifications

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Echo Tech Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with neonate to geriatric patients

Additional Preferences

• Functions well independently
• Ability to complete studies in less than 45 minutes per patient
• Easily adaptable to a fast-paced, fluid environment
• Able to take call for emergency stat echocardiograms

• Scrubs color: Ciel blue
