CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Roswell, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, rotating call required

Job Description

• Perform all CT exams and x-rays for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide timely diagnostic services under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy is required.
• No floating required.
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
• Max return to office (RTO) time: 1 week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New Mexico
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Additional Information

• 48-hour guarantees may be approved.
• Scrub color: Navy Blue.
• EMR system used: Cerner Change Healthcare PACS.
