Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Position

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Provide nursing care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
Facility offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.
Joint Commission Accredited with specialized certifications including Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Certified Primary Stroke Center.
199-bed hospital located in a region known for year-round sunshine and outdoor recreational activities.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
Minimum of 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current certifications required prior to start:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
Must comply with New Mexico state fingerprinting and background check requirements before hire
- A 14-day supervised waiver period is allowed while background check results are pending

Work Schedule

36 hours per week
Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays

Additional Notes

Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
