Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (6:30 AM to 5:00 PM)
• 36 hours per week
• Floating only to prep and recovery areas

Unit Information

• Cath Lab with 11 procedure rooms (5 cath, 4 EP, 2 hybrid OR)
• Patient-to-staff ratio: 1 patient to 3 staff members
• Equipment includes GE and Philips x-ray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR, Merge Hemo
• Documentation systems: Merge Hemo and Meditech

Procedures Performed

• Diagnostic cath lab procedures
• PCI, Rotoblator, Laser atherectomies
• ECMO, TAVR, MitrClips, Watchman
• IVUS, FFR, complex PCI, CTO, Shockwave, Pernumbra
• EP Lab procedures including EP studies, pacemakers, ICD, ablations (excluding cryo ablations), micra pacemakers, loop recorders, lead extractions including laser lead extractions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Certification as RCIS, RCES, RT(R), or Cath Lab Tech Certification
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist and Electrophysiology Technician
• Ability to scrub and monitor cath lab and/or EP procedures
