Work Schedule
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (6:30 AM to 5:00 PM)
- 36 hours per week
- Floating only to prep and recovery areas
Unit Information
- Cath Lab with 11 procedure rooms (5 cath, 4 EP, 2 hybrid OR)
- Patient-to-staff ratio: 1 patient to 3 staff members
- Equipment includes GE and Philips x-ray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR, Merge Hemo
- Documentation systems: Merge Hemo and Meditech
Procedures Performed
- Diagnostic cath lab procedures
- PCI, Rotoblator, Laser atherectomies
- ECMO, TAVR, MitrClips, Watchman
- IVUS, FFR, complex PCI, CTO, Shockwave, Pernumbra
- EP Lab procedures including EP studies, pacemakers, ICD, ablations (excluding cryo ablations), micra pacemakers, loop recorders, lead extractions including laser lead extractions
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- RCIS or RCES or ARRT (R)
