Provide routine and complex nursing care in a Level 4 NICU setting, caring for patients ranging from feeder growers to complex ICU neonatal patients.
Practice independently with awareness of all relevant clinical aspects.
Manage clinical situations by making appropriate assignments and delegating to other care providers.
Patient ratios vary between 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4; CNAs support 1:4 assignments.
Work schedule: 7 AM to 7 PM, full-time.
Weekend requirement: 4 weekends per six weeks, including two Mondays and two Fridays.

Provide nursing care consistent with ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
Administer medications and treatments following protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
Meet organizational competency expectations as a Leader of Self, Others, or Leaders.

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within the last year.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Current STABLE certification (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants).
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
