• Travel assignment in Lewisville, Texas
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• Surgical Telemetry Unit
• 19 beds
• 1:6 patient ratio
• 1st floor, B tower

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge experience
• Preceptor experience

Unit Details

• Staffed by RN, LVN, and PCT
• Day shift staffing: 1 Charge, 3-4 Nurses (RN/LVN mix), 1-2 PCTs
• Night shift staffing: 1 Charge, 3-4 Nurses (RN/LVN mix), 1-2 PCTs
• Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn VS machines
• Typical work includes ambulation of patients and wound care PRN
• Floating may include Ortho Trauma (sister department) and Inpatient Rehab

• Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
• Weekends and on-call: n/a
• Unit culture is described as supportive, with an admission/discharge team assisting with MS patient flow
