Valid RN license in Kansas
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a(n) Acute Care or Inpatient setting
Basic dysrhythmias

Unit Details

24-bed unit
Patient ratio: 6:1
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period

IV access management
Central line management
Foley catheter management
NG tube management
Drain management
Wound care and ostomy management

Work Environment

Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 2 PCTs, and 1 unit clerk
Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, and 2 PCTs
